I was 9 years old and my little league team was in the city championship for the second year in a row. We came into the game feeling strong about our team, thinking that nobody could beat us. The first few innings were pretty stress free, a few mistakes here and there but nothing major had happened yet. I believe it was the 3 inning and the score was tied 1-1 when we pulled our starting pitcher out of the game and put in our star pitcher, Duncan. What happened next was unimaginable, they scored 3 runs in a row. We were now down 4-1 with 2 innings to play. We scored a run in the fifth to make the score 4-2 heading into the sixth inning.
