I actually really loved the first season of Fear The Walking Dead a lot. I won't lie, I was skeptical at first. The Walking Dead has been my favorite show since it first aired and I haven't had the greatest experience with spin off shows so I wasn't too excited when they announced this. However, I knew I would definitely watch it and give it a chance.
After I watched the first episode I was really invested. I noticed immediately that the show seemed completely different from TWD, which is a good thing. As I watched it I completely forgot that it was a spin off and think of it as it's own stand alone show, which I feel is important.
I think a lot of the criticism that people had when they initially started watching it was "Where are the zombies?"
