Personal Narrative: The Umwelt

The Umwelt, or the physical world: Justin believes that all living things are innately and intricately connected and believes that all physical beings and their energies are intertwined. Justin stated that, “I interact with all the matter in the world,” and goes onto explain that he believes that every individual effects every other individual in a beautiful way. Justin is aware of his instincts and is cognizant that he is protective but also defensive at times by projecting his anxieties onto those he is close with. He is also aware that he can be impulsive. Instinctually, Justin has the tendency to make poor monetary choices and is aware that he has the tendency to fall in love with a different woman every day. Lastly, Justin agrees that he can be opinionated and speaks his mind frequently. …show more content…
I believe Justin to be grounded in politeness. Having lived with Justin over the last year and a half, I sometimes feel that I have become a member of his family—his parents also live two houses down from us and Justin’s house is the house his father grew up in. Justin is also vested in education. He teaches biology and chemistry at Whitehall High School, in addition to being the junior varsity lacrosse coach at Parkland High School. Additionally, Justin stated that, “I am very empathetic to the plight of others and my heart breaks for those who are oppressed.” If I had to describe Justin, it is that he is hard-working and
