This training has shaped me into a new man. The U.S. Marine Corps training is worse than you could ever imagine. They take you in, and they break you down, turning you into the man they want and need you to be. They're hard on us, harder than mom and dad ever were. I thought it would be easier than this, but boy oh boy was I wrong. I know that those who are training us just was us to be strong and to succeed, but it's immensely brutal.
Although all of this is horrible now, I can't wait until I'm an official United States Marine. They keep reminding us that we are only recruits, and are yet to be Marines. We are constantly being reminded that only the best of us will stay through training and move onto bigger and better duties. The
