As a graduating senior before the start of my last semester, my English professor Dr. T. Stavola, approached me with an opportunity of a lifetime. He was adamant about nominating me for the Student Pinnacle Award, which is annually given out during commencement. The Student Pinnacle Award is presented to the graduating student who exemplifies significant success in his/her academic field of study, and for being the most outstanding member of the graduating class. With this information I felt so humbled, and honoured for even being thought of as a possible nominee.
