With this, I thought a many life decisions that I had made, both large and small and thought of how they affected my life and how different my life would be if I had chosen to take another path. I am a Christian and with further thought, came to…

The pain began slowly, pricking me with its sharp needles only while doing barre in ballet once a week. I ignored it, believing it to be normal, common discomfort that would soon go away, typical thoughts of a dancer whose entire sport is centered around “good pain”. Six months later, it had escalated to the degree that every step I took felt like an arrow to my knee. Dancing had become impossible, and it was determined that I should be taken to the orthopedist. The bland, brown and beige lobby became extraordinarily familiar as I waited two hours to be examined.…

This project honestly didn't have much of an impact on me whatsoever only because everything I stated in my structural tension was a plan I had during the summer. I personally value having good health so that helps me actually not eat things too recklessly (though I wouldn't say my diet and fitness plus represents that well). At the same time I tend to already eat a lot of meals with over plenty of carbs in them so running at least uses some of them.…

Multitudinous people have a coping mechanism for stress, mine is through music. Of course, there's nothing extraordinary about using music as a coping skill, many people do it. However, not as many people can say they are able to write, and play music as well. Some days as I come home from school, I can even hear Bach and Mozart begging for me to rehearse their over-practiced pieces after a long day of school, work, and band combined. I have been through a substantial amount of stress in my short period of life in this world, I struggle daily with an angel who whispers her dark thoughts into my mind.…
