Personal Narrative: The South Hedge Maze

Improved Essays
We woke up at 7:35am. We have decided to come and spend the Sunday at Ashcombe Maze and then head to shopping next. We went to Hungry Jacks to buy some snacks to eat and then we went to Springvale for breakfast. We could not come out with a decision on where to eat breakfast and ended up eating at a Taiwanese cafe. The Taiwanese cafe was a small store and the tables are stools were wooden. The wooden stools and tables were smaller compared to the many other restaurants we have been to. Marcus and I both ate Baso Rice with pork and cold soy bean, whereas, Nicole and mum ate dumplings and Dad at bee hoon and a hot soy bean for breakfast.

After breakfast, we headed off towards the Mornington Peninsula to go to the Ascombe maze. We reached the

The 'South Hedge Maze' is a much more complicated maze in my opinion and a confusing maze. Marcus and I team up and started the 'South Hedge Maze'. We stuff up a few times and still managed to make our way out of the maze faster than Mum, Dad and Nicole. We couldn't make the decision whether the way we came out was the exit or a fault so I ran to the back of the maze and saw another garden. I searched for another exit but the exit was blocked by the gate. The way we came out was the only exit so we made our final decision that exit was the real exit. We waited out side the maze for a approximately 5 mins before they finally made their way out. We hid on the left and right side of the bushes and when Nicole came out, we scared her. For one last time, Marcus and I challenged again for the 'South Hedge Maze'. Marcus went in first, like always and a minute later I went in. Somehow, I managed to collide with Marcus about five times in the maze itself. I went in circles a few time before making my way out. When I came out of the maze, I was amazed to see that Marcus was not of the maze yet. I made the record of about three minutes and 12 seconds. Marcus was still going in circles inside the maze, bumping into families trying to find their way out of the maze. I went in the maze from the exit and tried to find Marcus but I couldn't see or hear his footsteps.

✕ Marcus glared, taking bigger steps closer to him. If he hadn't killed him by now, what made him think that he ever would? Looking down at the mutant's hand, he saw that the flame had grown. "I'm still half human too!"…

Sit back, buckle up, and get ready to scream because I love roller coasters. My family and I go to Cedar Point about every month in the summer, and my dad and I go and ride everything in the park. It is just so fun! The one thing I really like about roller coasters is that there are little rides for the youth kids also. My least favorite thing is when I am not tall enough to enjoy a ride, which doesn’t really occur anymore.…

When I was very little, walking up the trail with a pack on my back and the dog at my side, I would reach out and pull leaves from the bushes and trees. I would tear off corners, smooth the edges, and they would be turned into spaceships, flying across a lush alien world. Sometimes the trail, worn down into the ground over time by paws and hooves, would climb its way up onto the crests of ridges and meander across the moist, mossy fringes of muskegs. The rough, black and gnarled spruce branches that grew there were pirate spacecraft, pursued by the sleek birch branches from beyond the muskeg's soggy borders. As imaginary lasers and rockets exploded against the ships' hulls, I would rip off little pieces of bark and let them fall to the forest floor.…
