Personal Narrative: The Snow Day

Improved Essays
The snow day
It was a cold winter's morning, I can see the white fluffy snow that was falling last night. And me my brother and sister were ready to go sledding.(There's a park behind my house so that's where we usually go.) While we were outside getting the sleds from the garage. Mom was doing the dishes and dad was watching a basketball game. We were all bundled up in warm clothes and hats/gloves. We go over to the park and start sledding we raced to see who could go down and up first, we fell on our faces sometimes and could feel the cool snow on our face. When we finally started to get bored and tired,
Lilly my sister said “do you want to build a snowman.”
I said “no,” in a calm way.
Then my brother Deacon yelled“no! that's boring.”

I was smiling the whole time as the skin around my neck was being ripped off.
