We watched the crane load it onto the truck and leave on its journey to help hundreds of people everyday, seven days a week in an impoverished area of Mexico. For some reason, the drive home feels longer today. It brings back memories of the long drive to the University of Denver, where we promoted FIRST and its message to educators all around Colorado at the STEMosphere. It brings back memories of the drive to the American Astronautical Society Guidance and Control Conference in Breckenridge where we had the opportunity to speak with professionals in the field of STEM and spread FIRST’s mission. Among the open pages is my school email where my inbox is flooded with the weekly updates that are sent out to the team, as well as sponsor and mentor correspondences. Throughout the season, I have tried to keep close contact with the team, sponsors, mentors, and anyone who has contributed to robotics because without all the support, the team could not run as smoothly as it does. There are even emails about scrimmage we attended with other teams such as the Rapticon 3200
