Personal Narrative: The Road In My Life

The road most people in my community go down you shouldn't expect me to writing this. My family doesn't have the most money in the world and we don't have the most opportunities here. My hometown is one of the poorest in the country and many people would expect me to just quit school and get a job to support my family, but that was not the case with me. I pushed myself to achieve something greater than what others around me have done. I didn't want to fall into the stereotype that because I am part Mexican I’m lazy or just another trouble maker because I'm not that! I'm someone who's shooting for something greater. No, I didn't have a bunch of opportunities for success. Yes, statistics say I should of dropped out of school and not even be thinking
