Personal Narrative: The Right To Privacy

Before I begin, I have shorted my friends names to just a letter as blogger is public and I want to respect their privacy.

So there I was, leaving the picturesque mountains of Western Canada and heading towards the good ol' US of A. My first stop on my journey through the Mid West was Minneapolis, Minnesota. My time in Minneapolis was disappointing overall, but it served as a good introduction for the rest of my time in America.

The highlight of my time here was staying in a hotel after 3 weeks of camping and staying in hostels! I managed to get a really good amount of rest after 3 really full on weeks. After I had checked into my hotel, I went across the street to get some lunch. Literally the first place I went into was a '$10 all you

There was no tourist information centre and no one that I had spoken to had any idea of things to do apart from Mall of America. Even East Lansing in Michigan had a tourist information centre, and it is a fraction of the size of Minneapolis. People were not very friendly either and honestly most people were surprised that someone from outside North America was actually there. Luckily people were so friendly in the rest of the states that I visited.

The part I was most excited for, Mall of America, was also massively disappointing. Everything was way over priced (like 30% more expensive than what I found in stores outside) and it definitely catered to people 15 and under. The theme park inside was definitely something to see though.

I'm hoping that I just had a so-so experience in Minneapolis and this isn't true for

My friend had to work during the week, but that wasn't a problem at all since Milwaukee had lots of bike trails to explore. It was really great to see K again, there was never a dull moment when we hung out. His roommate was super nice too and we were much more a like than I had expected (we both love Owl City just to name one thing). I can see why Milwaukee is a great city for students, drinks are so cheap there. Any mixers e.g. rum and coke, gin and tonic etc. were $1 each. In Australia you'd pay at least $7 for that. Lots of students would go to a bar to socialise because it's so affordable, I really liked that and I wish it was more like that back home. Like most of my trip, this week just flew by and before I knew it I was off to Chicago.

It was so great to see B again in Chicago after not having seen her for almost a year. She had to work the first night but her friend L offered to show me around the city. That night was probably the best night I had during my trip to US, I saw so much of the city, ate deep dish pizza and got a great view of the city skyline at night. Thank you so much

I agree with your post. I also felt that with each state having a myriad of laws that aren’t necessarily congruent with other states, let alone the federal government, would make it difficult if not impossible to have a single court. Therefore, with the way our system is set up, it is a necessity to have a multi-tiered court. When looking at the downside, I hadn’t contemplated the fact of jurisdictional conflict.…

Out of the multitude of Orlando theme parks, Universal Studios and Walt Disney World are the two most attended. Although they do have some similarities, such as rides and family friendliness, they are both very different.…
