Its reputation. My whole life I've lived in the relatively small town of Winston-Salem. But only recently did I realized the discontent many had for my town, this became evident throughout my high school experience as fellow peers of mine, began to openly expressed how they couldn't wait to escape. And as we talk of colleges, it seems they are not only planning to escape Winston, but all of North Carolina, due to their negative association. This is why the reputation of boring Winston is the most important concept that needs to change to me, because I know it is not an accurate portrayal of my city. In the last two years, I have explored more of Winston-Salem, than I have had in my whole life, and with each bi-weekly adventure, I grew to love
