Artica is my family’s last name. My grand-mother and grand-father are descendants from Spanish immigrants in Honduras. They lived below the poverty line in a banana field with 11 children. This is because my grand-father and grand-mother were forced to finish their education in second grade and because my grand-father worked for a banana company in the 1950’s.
