When I look back to this infamous day in the sixth grade, there are two things I remember the most. One is the sound that reverberated through the halls. The second, the crushing guilt I was left with. Even though the day started out like any other it didn’t end that way. I was collecting books from my locker when I saw my friend, Rhiannon, talking to Jackie, who she supposedly couldn’t stand.…

As I woke up my life flashed before my eyes, in front of me I saw a big pile of metal and I realized my parents weren’t around. I stood up with my clothes burnt, damaged, and torn, and started digging through the sharp burned metal that kept poking me through my skin but I didn’t care. I dug for twenty minutes until I saw skin at the very bottom, it my parents all right, my dead parents who were filled with metal. I ran, ran as far away as I could , sobbing until there was almost no body fluids left in me.…

It was a warm and cozy afternoon, with the temperature reaching 75 degrees at max. The sun rays were still shining brightly, casting shadows across a wide field full of green grass. The sounds of various birds chirping can be heard clearly everywhere, and occasionally a butterfly would fly around, landing gently on the ever-fragile petals of the clarie flowers. Right next to the field was the woods of the Kaiboro Forest, a mysterious place full of never-ending clumps of trees(that was so an exaggeration... it is small in a way but hard to navigate so no one has ventured in it much)...…

I was 17 when I had my first, and hopefully only, encounter with a member of an elite gang. They were powerful and even more so feared. Standing at about 67 inches tall, roughly 140 pounds, wearing only the most threatening pair of “Levi’s,” I have seen, he strolled over to me scowling, his eyebrows furrowed, and asked, “Do you know Joel, from Hell’s Angels?” I scanned him, looked the man straight in the eyes and said, “No,” while slowly turned to the girl next to me hoping she'd have an answer. “Laurie, this guy, uh-” I was cut off by the man with a forceful, “ask her the question,” he paused, looking back and forth between us, “Come on, ask her.”…

I slowly walked into Khleo’s office which seemed weird and felt very old fashioned at the same time. Kind of surprised me though because from what I had heard about Khleo he didn’t seem like a well-organized type of person. I guess it’s sad to say that I felt a little nervous walking into gang territory even though I am a police officer but the truth is I’m not immortal I bleed the same way everyone else does. Though at the same time I felt that Khleo and his guys wouldn’t harm me anyway.…
