One slip is all it takes. As stated in the physics world, by Sir Isaac Newton, every action has an opposite and equal reaction. Although this is true for problems regarding the functionality of the universe in a practical sense, I believe that it is also true for day-to-day occurrences as well. As you grow up, you begin to understand and comprehend completely, that every single action you take directly affects something else. It was 2008, the housing market recession had just begun in the United States and the United Kingdom was clawing its way back from the major economic collapse as well. Like any middle-class family, we decided to get away from the dreary rain and dismal weather of England and travel abroad for the summer.

The laughter of the French boys drew out into a deep and long monotone drawl. They continued to push the ride. I screamed. As loud as I could, I wailed. As any parent would, my father recognized the sound of agony from my direction. It was at this point that one of the boats was crushing my head against a yellow iron beam, slowly pushing my body away from my neck and head. I could feel everything, my body twisting in a way it should never, completely powerless in the process. I didn't stop screaming. My father rushed over and started to panic. He used all 295 pounds of his strength to move the boat from atop of me. I was finally free. He reached down into the pit and pulled me out, blood spouting from the wound on my head and shoulder. He carried me on his back screaming for help as bystanders stood around frozen in shock. Turkish resort golf carts continued to drive along as if nothing happened, and for the first time in my father's life, he felt completely helpless. I fell unconscious at this point, possibly due to shock, possibly due to the loss of blood. However, the only thing I remember next is lying in a hospital bed surrounded by monitors and
