Behind my bright blue eyes is the soul of a girl with many passions. I grew up as a tomboy, riding fourwheelers and playing sports. Throughout the years I have gone from wanting to be a ballerina, to a veterinarian, a writer, a marine biologist, and now I am striving to become a professional golfer.
At the youthful age of ten my life was changed. I was warming up with my travel softball team when I felt the initial lightning bolt of excruciating pain jolt through my wrist. Multiple doctor visits later and I was diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. I quit softball and decided to try golf thinking it would be easier. As it turns out, golf is the most challenging game ever created. Since the first time I swung a club I was hooked. Golf spoke to my soul. …show more content…
Doctors said my diseases would never go away, so we turned to natural approaches. Through holistic and integrative doctors, I changed my diet and lifestyle drastically.
Today I am all about eating healthy, working out, and yoga. I would never change my past, because it has shaped me into the wonderful person I am today. The truth is, I am still growing, changing, evolving, but no matter how many times I’m the one yelling, “FORE!!!” out on the course, I will always be the girl that fell in love with the
