I have learned to respect others, as in coaches and referees more because I know what they go through and it’s not easy. I have also realized that if I start yelling at the referee I’m not going to get anything out of it because I know what I would do if I was in his spot. If the referee does mess up on a call I calmly tell him that he should pick up his game and to not take it slightly. This way you let him know that the call wasn’t right, but he doesn’t take your comments as insults and he doesn’t take anything out on your team and affect you by an incorrect call. Respecting each other’s position or roles is fundamental if everyone is doing what they are supposed to be doing and they let each other do their jobs it will be an easy non problematic game. Being in the different roles makes you realize what everyone goes through. How their functions gets a part of the game happening. Without one of the roles doing their part the whole game would be changed and it wouldn’t be the same. I wonder if the players and coaches go through some type of training to see what the referees go through, if it would cause them to change their action towards
