Let’s talk about something no one ever wants to talk about, Middle school. Junior high was one of the best and worst three years of my life. From friendships to boy drama etc. So any sixth graders out their?!
At the end of fifth grade we had the middle school counselor come and talk to us in our auditorium. All of our questions were literally about one thing. Dress code. The new middle school would have uniforms. “Green, grey, white, and black polos along with kaki or black pants.” I even hated the idea of dress codes. But I was really excited to go to a new school. I still had a long year of fifth grade to go. Milestones specifically.
Today I had to take the “big test”. I was ready to crame everything i had learned =this year …show more content…
The one day that would change my life forever. So they said. At first i wasn’t nervous at all. To me, everything was the same. “ Just a new school, Same people new building.” Until i got there. That place was huge!
One of the first things i noticed was the color scheme. Everything was the same 5 colors. As if i had gone color blind. In each classroom there was 1 brown wall along with 3 white ones. Everyone had on colors dress code accordingly. The smell was like freshly printed paper. It was the weirdest. The thing about this school was my since xth grade class was the first to go to that school. The school had been built 2 years before i got there. Meaning i was apart of the fresh batch of kids.
As you grow older , you start to learn how cruel kids are. On the first day i was separated into the weird kids group. Although I had “popular” friends, i just didnt fit the criteria. I decided to join band as a way to slightly scream away anything the kids had said to me before that class. Saxaphone. I thought the insrtument was so cool. In band i met a girl named Mia. Her and i were the best of friends. She had this sense of humor unlike anybody else. She called me the “Noodle to her soup.” I loved mia like a sister. Everytime i said something she would laugh so hard she would get in trouble for it! But the time came around when friendships had to fall apart. Mia had to move to a new school.
