Chapter One - The Tattoo
You would think that when you woke up early on your sixteenth birthday something magical would happen. Well so far the only thing magical that's happened is how I'm running on four hours of sleep. “Trust me. I'm not most people.” I say looking down.
“Mind if I join you. I promise, I wont bite.” he says, a faint smile playing on his lips.
“Why not. I could use the company.” I said moving over a little. As he began to climb, it seemed as if the tree branches were moving along with him. They were moving in every direction of his feet, as if to save him from falling. So as I began to move over and take a seat on a near by branch, did I realize the tree branches around me were moving as well. I was so oblivious to the sight of a makeshift seat I was now sitting in.
“I haven't seen anyone on this trail for a while.” He said, “No worries though, your tattoo is already fading.”
“How do you know?” I asked. I didn't know someone else knew what was happening to me.
“The tattoos. Yeah I know about them.” He said, a smirk now playing on his lips.
“How? I didn't think anyone else knew.” I say looking directly at him.
“The book told you some one was with you, or at least watching you right?” He asked “Well I'm the person whose gonna help you find what you're missing.”
“Did this happen to you?” I asked
