The Move

Everyone loves Paris. I lived in Paris. I went to North Ridge Middle School with my best friends Ashley and Morgan. My mom told me we were moving . . . to Canada! I was shocked! Mom had gotten a promotion there. I didn’t want to move.
Ashley and Morgan came over, and I told them the news. Morgan and Ashley hugged me. “We’ll miss you, Taylor!” they both said.

The next day, Sydney told me my hair smelled weird. This was getting big. So the next day when she said I should clean her locker, I said no. She screamed at me that I should have never come to the school, and then she punched me in the stomach. Fortunately, our principal saw and Sydney got suspended. The next day, I was happy, and I finally felt at

In Sleeping Freshmen Never Lie by David Lubar, the scene I choose for the rewrite in another character’s point of view is the one when Vernon attacks Scott from behind while Kyle and Kelly watched.
