Personal Narrative: The Little Mermaid

I was horrified. I had never performed such a major role nor had I ever sung a solo part. I was new to the world of theater. Having just had a wonderful experience performing a small part in The Little Mermaid, I decided to continue pursuing my passion for theater. When I auditioned for the musical Annie, I decided to step out of my comfort zone and audition for the part of Oliver Warbucks. After singing to an audience for the first time, I went home and anxiously anticipating the email to announce the casting decision. I was awoken at early in the morning by a frenzy of phone calls.
