When I was about six years old, I was being dragged through a garage sale with my mother. While there, we discovered the strangest thing that I had ever seen: a Nintendo 64. I didn’t know it back then, but that game system has played a major role in my identity. My mother bought the system and the games that came with it. She taught me religion; what is right and wrong; everyone has problems and it is not all about me--I need to think of others too; and she inspired and encouraged me to learn the piano. I could go on, but I would take more time than I

I have known her since second grade and we still are as close as we ever were. She was the one that made me feel like I wasn’t an outcast. When I first met her, neither of us had friends because we were different. I was the fat girl on the block that got pushed around, and she was the weird, blind kid that had the strange white hair. I thought, and still do, that her hair is really neat. She is the reason I have a (slight) sense of humor and the reason that I got into the anime and drawing. She introduced me to the shows and is the one who always encouraged my work and praised it when I felt like burning
