Marita Sturken says that “The photograph of personal value is a talisman, in which the past is often perceived to reside so that it can be re-experienced” (Sturken 178). This picture reminds me a story is very meaningful behind it. Most of people never forget the last day of their high school. That day has a lot of different memories with their friends and teachers; it was a bit surreal because it was quite a bittersweet day. I do not think my best memory of my life has approached me yet. However, I feel my high school years have been the most unforgettable memories. I have grown so much during the time I attended in that school. Moreover, I had had the most amazing friendships, learned a lot of incredible things, and shared terrifying and beautiful experience with the members of my class. I strongly believe that high school is the open door into the rest of my life. First of all, I didn 't think that the time to graduate would come soon enough. But now that time was approaching, I could not believe that it has come this fast. I remember my last day of high school, my classmates and me passed the exam, I was very happy because I got forty scores on thirty scores, and we graduated from high school. We were very happy in the morning of that day, especially, I participated in the celebration at school, and I ate pho and banh mi for my last lunch in the cafeteria …show more content…
I didn 't want to leave that place. I know, my friends and my teachers were important in my life because they always support me when I go to study far away. I really very miss them, I hope the next summer can come to as soon as possible, so I can go back to Vietnam to visit my class and teacher and moreover I will visit my school where I have grown so much during attending time. That is most beautiful and has most memories we have ever

I've considered myself a sort of mellow guy, but I can be very intense. It's funny because you can't tell by looking at me. Most people say they can't read me, but I think i am a fairly simple guy.…

The hardest thing I’ve ever went through? Let me take you back to almost three years ago to a very cold Thursday morning in January. I was sitting in history class when suddenly something very strange happened; the announcement speakers came on. To most people it would seem like it was a very typical day to day event to listen to announcements; but at my school announcements were rarely ever said. My classroom got completely silent; to the point where you could have heard a pin drop.…

"Success is the result of perfection, hard work, learning from failure, loyalty and persistence" I have had many ups and downs over the course of my life thus far. One specific example of this took place during my freshman year of high school. When I started high school it was very challenging for me, partially due to the fact that; during this time, I was lazy, unmotivated and did not really take school seriously. This by far is one of my biggest regrets to this day. Who would ever think that not trying during my freshman year would continue to follow me throughout the course of my academic career.…

My years in high school were quite thrilling and adventurous. Starting as a freshman, I had no idea where I was going and what was going to be expected of me. Over the years I became involved with extracurricular activities which led to my primary interest I had developed in technology and the sciences. As a freshman I joined the Students with Future Interests in Technology Club, Spanish Club, and Robotics Club. These clubs stayed with me till I graduated high school and I have loved them ever since I got involved in them.…

Most nights they would discuss their plan, but they also talked about other things. “I don’t really understand why you want to blow up the senatorial.” He knew that was where the elector’s cabinet got together and concurred on matters of the state. These have been such memorable years to me that I will never forget as I grow. I wouldn’t change my experience for anything because I’ve learned and grown so much in the few years I’ve been in high school. In the beginning I thought high school wasn’t an important part of my life. I was just focused on football and goofing off.…

Exhilarating: a term making one feel very happy, animated, or elated, would be the perfect word to describe what the day had in store for us eager, and jubilant grade 6 students. A thrilled and luminous smile lit up on my enthusiastic face as I ambled on the same rugged, cracked, gray tinted sidewalk that I had sauntered on everyday for a year. The serene, endless sky was the perfect shade of aqua as the light, silky, radiant clouds formed delicate shapes. The sun was glistening with great luminosity. Suddenly I heard someone screaming my name well not really; it was my nickname, one that really agitated me in an incredibly obnoxious way, “Babikathu wait up”.…

At 38 degrees latitude north and 92 longitude west, lies the rural farming town of California, Missouri. This town is rich in cornfields, small businesses, and many churches of all denominations. From the quiet fields, to the busy town square this city is home to 4,341 people. What I believe makes California stand out from the other towns is that it has the “oldest continuously operating fair west of the Mississippi” (Kunze). But the thing that impacts me most about this town is the California High School, it’s staff, and the students.…

The end of the day comes whether you have gotten up to do something productive or if you have simply remained inanimate while time moves around you. I have found that the present slips away while you are worrying about the future. We are constantly telling ourselves that if we just get through this, then everything after will be better. We forget to appreciate the moment while constantly reaching for a hypothetically more fulfilling life. Once we graduate high school, or get through a challenging class, or finish a workout, everything after will get easier.…
