Personal Narrative: The Great Depression

Coming into my junior I was not happy at all. I was very depressed and did not want to be around no one. I felt like everyone was against me and I just was not happy with life last year. I was not focused on school at all. I wanted to give up completely on school. I was not really trying to get a high GPA or nothing, just good enough grades to pass. I really had thoughts of taking my own life for months, but one night in March I just broke down and told my mother how I was feeling and she got me help. After 7 months of being depressed I finally came back to myself and started to enjoy my school year. My main focus was to get my GPA back to a 3.0 or higher. I could not figure out why I was feeling like that because being depressed was something that has never happened to me until this year. I stayed going to talk to someone. I did not come completely out of my depression after school, but the lady helped me get back focused on school. It was hard for me to since I was having all of those crazy thoughts. But I did it, and finished school with a 3.2 GPA. I was so disappointed in myself because I went from a 3.76 to a 3.2. I knew I was smarter than that. I will tell anyone my junior year was a mess. I did not know if I was going to finish it strong. It was like a rollercoaster honestly. One minute I was happy and the next minute I was sad and just didn't want to do nothing anymore. Out of everything the main thing I remember is getting suspended for fighting. I'm not a fighter at all so me getting into a fight was a surprise. Yeah I could of told an adult about what was going, but I did not think it was going to get to the point to where I actually would of fought the girl. With me working and trying to keep my grades up I was very stressed.I never had time to do anything besides go to school and
