Personal Narrative: The Game Of Life

The Game of Life was a very life experience game. It taught me different life choices. For example one of the choices was to stay on the life path or pay so much for a night class. That could’ve been a win- win situation. If you would’ve changed your career you could’ve made more or made less. If you stayed on your life path then you could’ve improved or went bankruptcy. The game also pops up with different expense that could hurt or harm you. Like a food in your home, bankruptcy, education, or Child care. I would recommend this game to all students only beacause it helps you with life experiences.

It’s the American way! So take advantage whenever you can. The time will probably come when you don’t have enough money on hand to buy a Deal-or to pay your bills, pay a neighbor, or make a charitable donation you are instructed to make. So do what any red blooded American would do: Take out a LOAN
The Game Monopoly is an excellent life experience. It taught me different life decisions. For example you have to spend a lot to make a lot. In this situation it could go either way good or bad. Property could play a very important role. Another example, referring to the game, is when you buy property let’s say you have monopoly if someone lands on your property that’s double the rent which is making you more money. You could win or lose money. The game also pops up with different expense that could hurt or harm you. Monopoly is a mind type of game. I would recommend this game to all students only because it helps you with life experiences.
All of the games made a major impact on my life. These games helped me make difficult or challenging decision in life. I appreciate Mr. Tisdale for helping us with the choices of games. They have taught me entirely so

Money plays a substantial role in every aspect of life. It can either make life easier or it can make it much harder. Lewis relates how money is used by the Oakland Athletics in comparison to the other teams that have more money than them. You hold three cards at a time. When it is your turn, you lay down a card you choose from your deck of three, and put your specific colored coin on the matching character on the board. When you have four in a row it is a sequence, so you win!…

Every Life Matters I really only started understanding the meaning of abortion once one of my mom’s friends had one. Before that I had very little knowledge about abortion. My parents have always taught me to stand by what I believe and that others may have different beliefs. They always told me that I would meet people that would disagree with me and what I believe not only when it came to these kind of topics but many other things as well. Being told that, they told me to always respect people’s beliefs and their points of view because everyone has the right to stand by what they believe, just like I do.…

Life is simply perspective. Some say that you have your whole life to do something, while others will argue that life is short and you should enjoy it to the full extent of it’s worth. You can look at something as exquisite, or atrocious. It doesn’t change what it is, but it changes your reaction to it. No matter how sure you are about the morality, someone else could view it differently.…

In today's society the average person goes through high school, then repeats the cycle through college, gets their degree and goes out into the “real world”. They meet someone, have a family and move out to the suburbs. That is the path that most americans take throughout their long journey in life. Contradictory to that some of the wealthiest people took the risk of taking their own path and profited very well from it. “Have the courage to follow your own heart and intuition” (Steve Jobs).…

I have never really considered myself a history buff, nor do I tend to indulge myself in any sort of history in my spare time. Like many others, I took this course, Role Playing American History, in order to fulfill a general education requirement, and my counselor said she has heard this course is pretty entertaining. However, I found myself truly enjoying this course for many reasons beyond being able to argue with my classmates. This course truly did help me to better learn about American history for several reasons, as well as alter the way I view history in general. First and foremost, the game itself taught me a variety of information about American history.…

Imagine living in a fantasy world where everything is pitch perfect the way you wanted to be, but then, you wake up to the harsh reality to feel trapped and animated on the inside. This is how I first view my life story for the last three years. At first, I never thought this class would help me realize who I am nor what I have to value until eight weeks ago. To start off, I have looked at my life in a new light and sees how I should understand others before I judge them, as well as, to understand the importance of morals and values. Everyone has their own values and morals that they believe in to determine what is right and wrong in life, so have I. Not everyone can agree to the same stuff about how one’s should live our life, but instead learn from our value and believe to make our own story in our life.…

Back in September we got told about our I.B. project and were given some example ideas. None of them seemed appealing to me, and I thought about what to do, I had so many ideas of what to do and found the one that best suited me which was to create a video game and have people play it around the world. I knew video games from the back of my mind so to create my very own video game and have people play it would be outstanding. Although it did have a flaw, I had no experience in making video games. I had a general idea of what to do but not enough to get me far.…
