Number one, do NOT procrastinate. Yup I am most definitely still learning this one. There is no gain in procrastinating with assignments, you should put some time and effort in it. This doesn't just apply to sports, but to everything you love to do. When you play every game like it’s your last or do everything to the best of your ability, you walk away satisfied, knowing you gave it your very best and you have no regrets. When you don’t do this, you take the risk of wishing you could go back and do it again, but the thing is you can’t. This year has and will bring a lot of lasts, but I’m ready to make the most of it.
Number four and lastly be yourself. Life is too short and no fun when you pretend to be someone you’re not. When you truly know who you are, people will truly love you for that. Don’t be afraid to admit you snort when you laugh too hard, watch Spongebob Squarepants for fun, only know quotes from Disney movies, sing the loudest you can if you want to and dance like nobody's watching when you’re alone.
There are so many things I have learned in the past four years in high school. While I’ve learned a lot in high school, I still have a lot to learn in the upcoming years wherever I go.
