When I was fourteen my dad took me to a football game at the Carolina Panther stadium. The teams playing were the Packers and the Panthers. We were in the 500 section of the stands, which is on the fifty yard line, all the way up at the top. The seats were at such an angle that if you fell, you would fall right off the stands and down to the next row of seats fifty feet below.…
As I was excitingly woken up by my brothers on Christmas, I ran downstairs to see what I had gotten. I opened my presents like I do every year, and got excited about them like every year, and then thanked everyone for my presents like every year. As we had just finished up opening presents, expecting no more, my mom told my brothers and I that there was one more present and got out her phone. Whenever my mom pulls out her phone, the family knows she’s about to record something or take pictures . So, my brothers and I cautiously looked at each other, deciding if we should get excited or not.…
The imagery of this quote drew me in. The vivid colors described creates a picture of a basic football field, maybe even similar to our turf at Colby-Sawyer. Bissinger draws this beautiful picture of a calm stadium, painted with the colors of competition, but then he throws in the portion of the text describing Boobie’s exit as an injured player off the field. The addition of Boobie’s exit to the beautiful scene Bissinger writes us adds more feeling for me as a reader. The text shows how odd it is to see Boobie on the sidelines and not playing in the game.…
As I was, once again, sitting on the bench watching my fellow teammates play baseball against another team. I thought to myself, I loved playing football and wrestling, all of my experiences during those seasons were awesome... and then came baseball season. The only sport which I have grown to hate. As I continued to think I began to realize the head coach completely destroyed my love for baseball. I am like a son to my football and wrestling coaches.…

As the sun plummets to its end on a Friday evening, in a small town just north of the capital of Texas. Businesses become calm and streets become lifeless, as an entire community packs into a stadium anxious to see their team go into battle versus that week’s opponent. The level of excitement that has been accumulating all week, rings throughout the stadium as everyone longs for the opening kickoff to heal their Friday football fever. As a four year old I wasn’t able to realize that I was witnessing the greatest football team to ever come through Burnet High School, as they demolished every team that was brave enough to step in front of them week after week.…
I would like for you to get to know me a little bit better. I'm going to tell you just a few of my passions. You can tell a lot about someone by their interests. Vince Lombardi addressed football as, ¨Football is like life - it requires perseverance, self-denial, hard work, sacrifice, dedication, and respect of authority¨. Throughout my lifetime I have had many experiences, some great, others, not so great, but no matter what, I have put full effort and commitment with everything that I have done. The most valued experience that I have is football. Football has shaped me into the person I am today and has laid a foundation in which I could build my values on. I started playing the game since I was in grade school. Till this day, the excitement of strapping on my pads and hearing the crack of the helmets has not changed one bit.…

Last year during fantasy football I had a great team my players rarely got hurt and none of them got suspended. On the other hand almost all of my opponents had to deal with that. My opponents all agreed that I had the best draft overall, and I would still get beat by all of them. First is the draft of a lifetime, I got the second pick and I picked Le'veon Bell. I also got many other good players such as: Drew Brees, Panthers Defense, Derek Carr, and Amari Cooper.…
