Everything is already paid for, you know because it's really expensive and nobody has money for that, like me. As I travel around the world, trying new foods, I’m also drawing them. When I finish with my masterpiece it suddenly pops out from the canvas and turns into real life food. Most of the times I give the extra food to others in need, or around me. It’s always nice to help out. I draw food from places like Greece, and try to draw foods that consists out of your diet. This is the job I call the Food Artist.

Depending on the food, you use a special canvas along with a pen, marker, brush, and other tools to bring the food to life. Materials for different types of food varies between canvases and your preferred choice of drawing tools. As for the colors it can either be limited, or have a large variety, it all comes down to the colors around you. Though there is a already existing color palette, if you see a color you like that is around, you can use that color as well. The purpose for this is to be creative and have fun with new colors.

The vast spectrum of knowledge, skills obtained, and experiences from a college degree more than compensates for the monetary cost of tuition. Creating art is my passion; I have always wanted to become a great artist ever since I was a child drawing on my walls and copying pictures from books. I have devoted my life to improving my talents by illustrating my own stories, practicing drawing daily, and challenging myself to earning my own money doing what I love by drawing commissions. Learning how to communicate through illustration is a valuable skill that will live with me for the rest of my life and progressing my artist career.…

I come from a poor family. I never had brand-name shoes or video games, or even a Lisa Frank binder and stickers like my friends at school, but I always had plenty of food in the fridge at home. My family never went hungry in spite of the fact that we were raised by a single mother who made her living as a coffee shop waitress. I did not know, till I was a teenager, that my mom bought the majority of our groceries with food stamps. It never seemed odd to me that she went to the grocery store one time a month and stocked up on milk, sugar, lunchmeat, chicken legs, hamburger meat, and most importantly, coffee.…

There is an order for the way things are handled when I make the decision to start cooking. Writing down what is needed is a good way to prepare the list of ingredients or even writing the whole process, which some would call a recipe. For the list of ingredients, it is important for me to check home first before I go out and use money that I do not need to use. From there I start writing my list of cooking materials needed, be it ingredients for food or equipment needed to help me do the type of cooking I plan to do. Time is also a part of the preparation for me when I cook.…

Food is central to human life; to think of food is to think of sustenance. It maintains individuals as a live being, for without it our body would no longer to perform the processes necessary for survival. The word ‘food’ itself conjures platonic images due to the fact that it is essential. The term cuisine, however, provides a much more intimate stance on food. When one thinks of food as it relates to cuisine, the train of thought naturally digresses to the food associated with countries, and that is where understanding ends.…

It only goes to show that the question that more than likely receives the most generic answers from an audience, can also be the hardest to answer truthfully. What is art? If you were to ask a group of one thousand people that very question, the chances are that the majority of them would answer it by saying something along the lines of “It is and expression of yourself and how you feel” and “Painting, drawing, sculpting, and photographs.” I refuse to be restricted to these two categories, only to answer the same way all others have. That may make me seem stuck up in some way, however, I feel that I have a fairly unique understanding that not many think about.…
