Growing up I had fell in love with cars. I constantly was trying to get my hands on all the hot wheels and remote control cars that I could. I was infatuated with them. There was just something about that sweet sound of a turbocharger making a “swoooosh” noise as it spun super fast, or the loud, deep engine of a hellcat. When the time had come to when I turned 16 and took my drivers test, I was more than ready to be behind the wheel of car. My moment had finally came, I passed my test with ease and got my first car. Although it was a “hand me down” I still loved driving whatever I could. I went through 5 cars, since I have been driving. Most of the cars I got were all older.
This past year I had a 2001 tundra, but back in November that all changed when I decided to get something new. Not just new, but something unique and different. Now I drive a 2014 Hyundai Genesis coupe and I truly feel a passion for cars. As we can see today cars are ever changing in our society. They are constantly being updated every year. For me, it's the feeling of gripping down on the throttle and knowing you will take off. Among me there are many others that I am sure feel the same way. NASCAR is a big deal to some of us, or even just the drag races. Either way cars need to be modified to go faster. The speed is what brings people in. These beasts of cars are what drive people in communities like ours to go out and spend money on events.
