Personal Narrative: The First Wave Of Aliens

Improved Essays
It was a normal day in the woods, me and my family survived the first wave of aliens that invaded the world. I remember the day like it was yesterday, the huge monster came and attacked anything that made a sound. There was no way that anyone could have prepared or predicted the aliens. Any loud noise was unacceptable and irresponsible in my family. As time went out we have found out what noises are safe and which ones are not. We have figured out how to understand each other by using sign language and lights. We have a food system and go to town every now and then to look for any supplies. Because of the fact that I have not heard any loud noises in years, it made it seem like the noise would be audible for miles. Now before we took and oath to never say anything again we discussed that if you hear a loud noise you run but I couldn’t move. I was immobile because of fear and shock because I have heard from my dad that if they hear you they will never stop hunting you. As my mind drifted away thinking of what was going to happen, I see my dad running towards motioning me to run. Then like that I snapped out of it and started to run as fast as I could, my dad motioned to tell my mom to go into lockdown. As soon as I started to run again, I heard loud footsteps coming behind me, at least a 100 meters away. Once these things hear you they will never stop hunting you. Cars are not an option if it works or not, they can outrun you and they are pretty persistent when they are hunting you down. If you are lucky the minimum time you will survive is a couple of days. My dad told me that if I was being hunted do not number 1 ever over complicated the situation, but at the same time number 2 do not make the mistake of being illogical and getting caught up in doing nothing
