The moment we entered the freeway I knew there was no going back, nothing would ever be the same again. I was as nervous as the first day of school. Miles and borders away from those who were always with me, wouldn't be with me anymore. I was with my mom and sister in a road trip that lasted 2 and a half days. We all knew we would have to face problems and hardships once we would be settled in Mexico.
Once we arrived, everything went well but not as great as it was when we lived in Minnesota with all the four together, but at this point of my life there was only three of us. My dad had to stay behind to work. Every now and then he would send money and resources for us to live. We would talk everyday with my dad but it wasn’t the same thing. Everyone in the book was alienated, the two main characters, a handicapped man, a man of a different ethnicity, and a woman. I spend about 40 minutes in the bathroom preparing myself for school and by the time I am done it is usually time to grab all of my things and barely catch the bus. Now this has to be my least favorite part of the day.…

School wasn't bad for me because it was hard, it was bad because i was always shy in school.…
