Two years ago there was a storm that demolished the Eastern side of America. There was no chance of survival but thank god we made it alive.
“ Excuse me!” “ Is she okay?” the little girl's voice asked.
“Yes, I'm pretty sure. I mean she's still breathing,” a bold voice said.
I slowly started opening my eyes. Straight ahead I saw grey and black clouds. I felt the heavy breeze move my hair in front of my face. My head was pounding, it felt as if someone hit the back of my head with a baseball bat.
“Dad! Dad! She's awake!” the girl exclaimed.
“Ok, I'll be there in a second. Let me just get the water bottle from the car,” the bold voice said.
I slowly and gradually started getting up. I saw cars passing by me so quickly I almost fainted. All the

“Ok girls, lets get in the car and start heading to Canada before the storm catches up to us. We can talk in the car,” Mr. Sam said.
So we got up and I felt so much pain in my shoulders, legs, and my whole body. We got in the car and I tired to think what had happened with me and it hit me.
“I understand now. I remember what happened. I was at home with my parents and they were watching the news and all of a sudden we get a alert that said that there was a tornado on the way. At first I couldn't believe that this was reality but then it hit me really hard. I am with people I don’t even know. Don’t know where my parents are and we are getting chased by the biggest storm of 2005. This felt like the biggest nightmare.
“ Umm, if you don’t mind me asking you then what is your age?” Kate asked.
“I am sixteen and you are?” I asked.
“I am seven years old,” Kate replied.
Time passed by and no talked the whole ride. We all were just thinking what our life had turned into and if our family was ok. We stopped at three gas stations to get fuel and food. Every time we stopped I looked around hoping to find my parents. Sadly, there was no sign of them. After seven hours we reached Canada and found police officers that directed us to the station we needed to go to.
“I pray that we find mom and your parents there,” Kate hopeful said.
“I hope too,” I said looking back at her.
We finally reach the station and we waste no time and enter right away. As we get closer to the counter, we see children of all ages crying and adults depressed. Some of the adults were watching the news and on the news it stated that there was so much damage done by it. We get to the counter and Mr.Sam asks if there was a lady named Lindy
