The fall of 2014 was when Gibson Southern became my new home. New bus route, new hallways, new everything. Though I still found myself highly awkward and strange, I was in high school now. I was a big kid. This meant I now was able to attend fancy school dances and, unfortunately, had to take finals. As I learned the ways of the school, I put my every effort into fitting in and (hopefully) not being noticed by the menacing seniors. Like most freshman girls, I worried far too much about my hair and swooned over every senior boy. As a freshman, you are told that if you don’t involve yourself in any school activities, you won’t survive... so, naturally, I signed up for everything: Sunshine Society, Pep Club, and
