Man, my job is easy! Never in a hundred years is this all I thought I’d have to do. Literally, all I must do is ride around, bounce from human to human, and make their life miserable, it’s great! Sure, many people hate me, but it’s just all part of the job. The job of being the disease of Typhus has its perks and downfalls, but mostly just perks. All my recruits and myself ride around in lice and fleas making people’s lives miserable. I myself don’t always infect people, usually I just send some of my troops in to do the job while I sit back and enjoy the show. There she is, my first victim, what a petty young girl; it would be a shame if someone was to make her seriously ill. Now all I have to do is wait for this dog full of lice and fleas …show more content…

I told them to work their way into almost every muscle on this small, petite girl; making it feel like she just got done doing the hardest, most intense workout of her life. This worked for quite a while, but I could tell I needed a little more. I sent my next flight of troops into every joint they could find in her miserable body. Now with every movement both her muscles and joints would feel as lumberjacks were in there coming down her limbs from the inside out. Everything was working out just as I was hoping it would. Tomorrow is the day that I let her know she isn’t dealing with just any …show more content…

The rash was to start in the middle of the body and work its way outward; effecting almost every part of the body. With any object that touches the rash, it will send a searing pain through the whole body until the point where it’s not even comfortable to lay still. Dear Mother and Father, Last time I talked to y'all, I was in a trench on the battlefield, and now I am in a hospital in France. It all started out when I was in the Firing Trench, which is the first trench on the battlefield and is right behind No Man’s Land. It is 45 yards in front of the Cover Trench, and it is where we fire at the Germans. The trench has a dugout, duckboards, and firesteps. In the dugout, all the soldiers ate, slept, and rested before battle.…
