The day I won the Lottery

The day I won the lottery was where It all started. I was off to the shops to check my lotto ticket to see if I had won anything. When I got there I went to check but the blue lottery machine was loading very slowly. It felt like forever but then suddenly It said that I had won $100,000,000 and 50¢. It was amazing instantly I could go around the world 3 times and buy a massive mansion by the river.

Instead I bought a small mansion and got Heaps of gadgets such as fold up night vision goggles, a small grappling hook gun, a long range binocular headset with a camera and a bluetooth connecter inside so I can make phone calls. The rest of the money I spent on making an underground bunker were there was all I could possibly need e.G: an obstacle course, Firing range, Robot security with drop down machine guns from the ceiling, Endless supply of food and water and last but not least the security camera control room. I now owned 10 major companies and get a large income ($100,000 per week).

I was walking down from upstairs on one Saturday evening when I heard a large nock on the door… I thought it was weird because I had an electric fence with an electrical gate that if you got the password wrong it would give you a large zap. I went and opened my door to see a man dressed in a black leather jacket and denim jeans. The

I gave him all the info and the usb at the base. We looked at the usb first. It had the routs and the exact point in which they would attack. It even had the types of ships and showed were they currently were. The agent that I was working with said that this was very useful and that we would now know When they were coming how we need to defend and we could properly bomb them while they were at sea. We next looked at the files. They held all the missions that Heinrich Himmler had ever signed. The agent said that we could use it as proof when we captured

Have you ever stopped caring so much that whatever happens, happens? I remember the time I had gotten in trouble by my mom because I had walked home from school. It was a gloomy day from it being so cloudy and cold. I was talked into walking home during school by friends whom, at the time didn't care about school as much as I did, cared nothing of school. I didn’t like it, but then again I started not to care either.…

There are several experiences in my life where I have felt that I was treated in an unfair manner, but the most recent of those experiences is the one that occurred to me only months prior to this application. Up until the beginning of November of this year, I used to believe that being a great and successful student would be the most rewarding accomplishment of my senior high career. As a result of this, I unwisely assumed that the most important thing in my life was how well I could do on the next test. I spent a meager amount of my time involved in anything else aside from my homework or studying; expecting to be fairly remunerated for a majority of my hard work. Earlier this year, I was indeed rewarded with an application to National Honors…

So before I left to go on this trip, I entered the lottery for this miniature junior high called dutcher that is difficult to get into. We had entered before we had officially decided to go on the cross country trip, so I wasn't going to be able to go to dutcher. The odd thing was; I didn't show up to the drawing because I just figured that I wouldn't make it in, but the next day when I went to elementary school a friend of mine told me that I had made it in. This had surprised me, because normally I don't make it into these things. My elementary was a lottery school, and I only got into it because my brother got pulled.…

It was a scorching summer afternoon around three o’ clock PM at J.D Redd Park. I was anxiously waiting in third base for the batter to approach the plate and smack the yarn covered ball just enough for me to make it to the home plate. As the sun hits my face I see the pitcher retract his right arm getting ready to throw it. As I see the ball leave the pitcher’s hand, I breathed in the humid air, making preparations to sprint as fast as I could and make it to the home plate. Before I could even gather my thoughts the ball departed from the pitcher’s hand and into the bat of one of the members of my team.…

I was playing lacrosse on a warm spring day in Glen Ellyn. I could feel my adrenaline spike, accompanied by my heart beating out of my chest. We finally had the ball on our side. Every second we had possession was precious as we knew the opportunities to score would be few.…

My excitement was like a like five year old on a sugar rush from eating too much Halloween candy. I had not played Rock Band in seven depressing years. The game forged a very destructive and negative atmosphere, due to the deafening sounds of the musical instruments and songs. I screamed into the microphone aggressively, attempting to follow the violent lyrics shown on the large television. I was anxiously moving along to the beat of the song, jumping energetically from side to side.…

“A handful of moments I wished I could change, but I was carried away,” are the lyrics that remind a lot about myself. Growing up, and even about two years ago, I was insanely shy and did not talk much around people, friends, or family. The way I talked to people was in a timid, soft spoken way, which looking back, was awfully embarrassing. My friends and family would laugh at me because I could not talk well, and when I did talk, they acted as if I were a baby who just said its first words. With all of that nonsense going on, their idiotic response kind of made me not want to say anything anymore.…
