The Day I Forgot
When your going to a soccer game, you never know what's going to go down or what's going to happen. This particular soccer game changed my view on soccer and life itself. We were playing Woodbury, it was back in the 5th grade. My dad was my soccer coach at that time.
My closest friends were on my soccer team, so it made soccer really a fun time for me. The game was going good so far, we were winning 2-1. I receive the ball from my friend in center mid, her name was Carly Bohl. she sends me the ball up the field for me to run up on. I received the ball and i'm dribbling up towards the net. I’m on the left side so i’m right near where all of the parents sit to watch the game. I’m dribbling up and all of the sudden a woodbury girl come up behind me and takes my legs out from under me. I’m not sure what really happened but somehow i did like a backwards somersault thing and landed on my stomach. It felt as if i was rolling down a never ending hilling. As soon as I hit the ground everything goes pitch black. I hear a ringing and the reaction from all of the parents
