The Cute Puppy
One day, Rebecca, Christina, Mark, and James were seated around the table with Mom and Dad. Everybody tried to eat fast, since they were getting their new puppy! Sarah and John, the owners, said to be there at nine o’clock, and it was already eight-fifteen.
Finally, everybody was done except James since he was the youngest. After a few minutes, James was done as well. Rebecca, Christina, Mark, and James were ready to go. They all hopped in the car, and off they went.
After a while, Dad announced, “Here we are, kids!” Rebecca and Mark scrambled out followed by Christina and James. Rebecca was the most anxious, since she was allowed to hold the puppy on the way home.
