Jeff wagner coach, father, family man. My first year of football he showed me the ropes. He worked with me knowing i was out of shape and had never played before. He dealt with me having breakdowns and being uncoachable and attitudes and everything else that i put him through. Jeff was there for me and he is there for me now but i don't see him as much anymore. But he congratulates me anytime he sees me he watches all of our games.
It all began with him my football legacy he taught me originally how to lift how to not give up and how to be a man how to be dependable . the makings of a football player and the makings of a successful adult and it stuck with me. When anyone is in the dumps jeff is the first person to pull you out of those dumps. He will make you laugh ,he will let you cry, he will give you the best pep talk. There's actually one quote that i remember from jeff when he was giving me a ride home one day, keep in mind that i am now a freshman at this point , but we were losing players on our team. Jeff told me “ If I was u with barely any players i'd talk to every swinging dick in the hallways at school and get them to play.” . This stuck with me because it was funny to me at the time. But there is an actual quote that i now know not to be his but he said “If you don't strive for greatness and you settle for the bare minimum ,then you are saying you are fine with being mediocre , and damn it i'm pissed off for greatness and u should be too .”. This is a quote that i live by because if you don't strive to be the greatest, how do you ever expect ur kids to or your family because they are gonna look to me as a parent to lead them and show them the
