There have been many important events in my life that I have learned from but one particular event comes to mind. Since I was 15, I have been a member of Catlett Volunteer Fire and Rescue. Being a member I can give back to my community and help those that are in a time of need. I have many great memories of how thankful people were when we helped them, but unfortunately I have many memories that are very disturbing that I will never forget. On 10/12//16 at 4:32pm, I Deputy Warden N. Christian was dispatched to 2711 Beal Drive on a dog being held. I arrived at the location and spoke to complainant Avon Andres. Ms. Avon advised that the dog was loose, so to prevent the dog from getting hurt she got the dog and held it to I arrived. I place the dog in my van and transported it to Franklin County Animal Shelter. Dog owner Jennifer McGee-Cooper redeemed the dog on 10/15/16.…
