Importance Of Being Brave

Have you ever been put in a situation that was frightening? In that situation did you have no choice but to persevere the situation and be brave? A point in my life was frightening and scary. When I was younger, before I reached high school, I faced many challenging obstacles to where I had no choice but to be strong. Between moving schools, cities, and to a new home, I had to be brave. It’s hard for children when they are younger to make friends at a new school. I was one of those kids who had to fight that obstacle and begin a new fresh start at a different school.

I faced many challenges growing up between my health issues and split custody with parents. When I reached the age of eight years old I was in third grade at a school in Fresno. I chose to move to Sanger with my dad even though I was frightened of not fitting in and being welcomed at a new school. Leaving behind a lot of friends is when I had to be brave. I had to show everyone how genuine and caring I was. I wanted nothing more but to be accepted

I owe so much to my father for raising me into such a strong outgoing child and showing me that there’s nothing to fear in life, everything will be okay, just take one day at a time. Me moving and starting a new chapter of my life at a new school was the best thing I could have done. I met new friends, I had an absolutely amazing teacher who did her best not only to help me but every single child that was in her class, working over hours to help guide us, give us advice or push us to try something new. Also, my amazing family and most importantly the most amazing father, my number one best friend and supporter I could have ever asked for. I could never thank them enough or show them how greatly they impacted me and inspired me to be the strong and brave person I
