After watching some gameplay videos for the new ps4 game Until Dawn, I was reminded of a strange term I had once heard, the butterfly effect. Upon seeing this, I decided to do some research to find out more about it. The Chaos theory more commonly called the butterfly effect summarized by Edward Lorenz is a branch of mathematics that deals with complex systems whose behaviour is highly sensitive to slight changes in conditions, so that small alterations can give rise to strikingly great consequences. With this, I thought a many life decisions that I had made, both large and small and thought of how they affected my life and how different my life would be if I had chosen to take another path. I am a Christian and with further thought, came to …show more content…
The first example of this sinful disease occurs in the lifetime of Adam and Eve; their first son Cain becomes the first murderer ever! Cain killed his brother Abel as a result of jealousy and anger that he had felt for him. Another biblical example is the massacre of the innocents in the book of Matthew. Herod a powerful king gave orders to kill all the boys in Bethlehem and its vicinity who were two years old and under. He did not even hesitate to commit genocide, and that of infants, in order to protect his power. This disgusting, unthinkable act would never have …show more content…
Would we as a race, be more technologically advanced? Would we have all the resources we need at the tips of our fingers? Would we share each other’s thoughts, ideas and plans rather than competing with and diminishing our opponents completely? Would we create magnificent buildings and impossible inventions? If your unhappy with some of the decisions you have made, make new ones, chose new paths, create new futures and most importantly be happy, loving and non-violent in every action and thought. Set up your future now with one choice at a

As a child growing up in Rhode Island, the smallest state in the Union, the idea of a vast planet brimming with civilization and culture was more like something out of a fairy tale than it was reality.
