Now I apologize for writing about such a cliche, honestly the phrase itself is synonymous with the word college, followed by ramen noodles, but that 's a different story. Many individuals use the term rather loosely and assume that every college student is in fact broke, but I beg to differ. Durning my time as an undergrad I did not seem to be surrounded by many "broke kids". They were very much well traveled, vehicle owners, Thursday night bar night college students.
