I decided to go to the gas station on my way home to purchase a late-night snack. I had been to this gas station a million times. I went to the back-left corner and proceeded to do one of those, “Make it yourself milkshakes”. I paid for my desert, walked to my car, and got in. I left the gas station and decided to take a couple short cuts, so I could get home sooner. The third turn I make is when I notice the truck. The same truck I had vividly seen at the gas station. I take the next three right turns which almost resembling an open square. This direction points me towards my next best option the police station. The view in my review mirror proves my hunch. He’s following me. The next eight minutes to the station felt like an eternity. I snuck my way through more back roads. Hoping that he wouldn’t know where I was heading. The lot was conveniently located on the corner and just back far enough. I could roll into the parking lot before he knew we were at the station. I parked my car just as he had slowed down. The cops walking out must have seen where and what I was looking at, because in the next moment

As a child, the motion picture that frightened me more than anything was Candyman. The minor notice of the film sent me into a progression of trembling whimpers. Despite being a child at the time, I was not fearful and apprehensive of most thrillers. Truth be told thrillers and blood and guts films charmed me and dragged me into their plot with its groveling tentacles. One scene I will always remember was a man who was haunting apprehensive of honey bees, in his washroom, getting prepared, he sees honey bees beginning to leave his ears and nose and mouth.…

I no longer want to be a part of a popular or important group of people, if I feel that what the group is doing or believes in is wrong, even if it means I'm not a part of the norm. I am not afraid to stand out on my own. I have challenged this belief for many years. When I was in elementary school, I was bullied by a group of girls that I hung with, looked up to and idolized.…

In just one day, you come into contact with more people than you can count. Your parents in the morning, you teachers at school, your friends during lunch, and everyone in between. If someone smiles at you, or laughs at your joke, you know you said something funny, or did something right. If you get a dirty look, or someone begins crying after you say something, you probably did something wrong.…
