My sophomore and junior year I was part of the “Big Sister” program for girls lacrosse. During this program we got to chose a “little sister” who was in the youth league for lacrosse. The girls depended on us to be at their practice twice a week and attend their game on Saturday. I had to be a leader to my “little sister” by helping and teaching her during practice. I gave her helpful advice and techniques to use during her game. Another way I had to be a leader was showing her to take practice seriously because in a few years she would be on the high school team.
