I looked ahead of me to see the beautiful coast of Maui, Hawaii. I saw plenty of waterslides, beach towels and beach chairs.The waterslides had long lines with people waiting impatiently while the beach chairs were set empty lined up like plastic soldiers. I smelled the scent of sunscreen being applied and I heard the noise of the waves crashing on the sand. " You ready kid?" The lifeguard said. I heard him, but all I could really think about was this waterslide. I also heard my brother and my Dad trying to calm me down, but all I saw was their mouths moving with no noise, like I was in a soundproof room. " Um.... I guess," I said nervously.
