Improved Essays
The best soccer game I played in was when I was in ninth grade for Forest Lake. We were playing an away game. I play goalkeeper but they wanted me to play defender. So they subbed me in and I played as a defender for a little bit and then they subbed me out and then I was subbed in as goalkeeper in the second half of the game. We were winning the game 2-0 and I was subbed in because the other goalkeeper was tired and wanted to get subbed out. They subbed me in and I had to save a penalty because my teammate knocked down someone in our box and caused a foul. I managed to save it and i had to make another save immediately because i parred it out and their teammate got it and shot. I dived for the ball and saved it.

Subsequently, the girl running next to me, went up for the ball just like I did and the ball hit my head but she pushed right into my side and I came crashing down.
