The Battle

Ben's mom is preparing dinner for her family.So ben what did you do today ben's mom said I was running around the town with jose.”That's all you did today”, mom mentioned .yeah that's about it. But what the ben’s family didn't know was that Adolf hitler was planning the annihilation of europe and millions of jews.

On, October 16,1940 Ben and I were running around the town.That's when we seen a big military truck and came out was nazis . They told the town you guys need to pack whatever in one bag and go into the tiny part of the city. We followed their instructions because they had guns.They burned down the houses and put fences around the tiny part of the city.

Mom I need to get out of this town. I am going to join the partisans with jose you're not going anywhere, please mom let me go i'm not going to die in this ungrateful place. Fine you can go but under one condition what is it please don't die and come and see me often okay mom. Me and jose joined the partisans. We learned how to sleep on the cold floor and how to use a gun.

The houses were packed full of people kids were on the corner begging for food and money.Ben saw his parents and they were hungry so we snuck in and out of the camps for two days trying to feed ben's
