Over the years and years spent on studying mythology, Joseph Campbell came up with the concept of The Hero’s Journey. The Hero’s Journey states that all hero’s travel in a similar path and go through many similar stages that’ll lead them to their reward. However, not every hero’s journey has to involve obstacles as in slaying a dragon or trying to save the world. In my case, I had to do nothing but trying to make it through sixth grade year. Sadly, sixth grade was the year that I faced the most challenges, real world challenges at least.…

It is not the easiest to find something good to do with a dollar. You can’t even buy anything at the Dollar Tree because with tax, you are spending $1.07. You could buy a Ricker’s soda, I guess, but that’s not really going to make an impact on anyone’s life. With my dollar, I decided to exchange it for one hundred pennies at Payless.…

It was a mild, dark summer day in the Alaskan wilderness so I was out hunting with one of my buddies, Alex Smith. Me and and Alex first met in 5th grade, we’ve been close friends ever since. I had a Beretta Ballista that shoots a .308 Lapua Magnum so I could shoot long distances and Alex had a AR-15 that shoots a 5.56*.39. I was in the deep woods in a treestand and Alex was just about 20 yards away in a ground blind. I saw some movement in the distance but it was very dark at night with no moon…
