Officially, starting from that day, my life was filled with elation and happiness. I never want to forget the time I started reading Maximum Ride. Starting off my day, I woke up from bed, gulped down some chow, and went back to sitting on my more than comfortable bed, reading the book of my future dreams: “Maximum Ride.” It was necessary to read this book, for a competition, called, Battle of the Books. Continuing on, the deeper I read into the book, the more hooked into the book I was.…

Sit back, buckle up, and get ready to scream because I love roller coasters. My family and I go to Cedar Point about every month in the summer, and my dad and I go and ride everything in the park. It is just so fun! The one thing I really like about roller coasters is that there are little rides for the youth kids also. My least favorite thing is when I am not tall enough to enjoy a ride, which doesn’t really occur anymore.…

The illustration that really caught my eye was when the fly is responds to the spider “Oh no, no, for I’ve often heard it said, they never, never wake again, who sleep upon your bed!” This specific picture really spoke volume to me on many occasions. The illustration shows the fly looking over at the spider’s bed and there is a group of ghost bugs holding a book called “The joy of cooking bugs.” The fly is aware of the spider’s misleading words because she is constantly proving to him that she isn’t a fool. Although she is aware of the spider’s tactics the fly still gets eaten by the spider.…

The immeasurable space surrounding the Coruscant-Metello trade route was just as busy as it usually was. All things considered, no irregularities usually appeared on the route, yet the regular inhabitants tasked with exploring barely bat an eye, regardless of a few ships coming from the distant core worlds. Presently, peculiar for a brief time, the deep chasm of space gave way for the hull of a small republic transporter just above the expansive orbit of the planet; jumping out of hyperspace for the last of its journey. As if on cue, passengers stood to revel at the sight of the thriving planet of Coruscant, dedicating their time to a period of awe while the view of the planet shifted just out of their sight.…

Roller coasters have always intrigued me. It amazes me that people eagerly exchange the safety of the ground for the well sought out moment to be tossed through the air like debris in a hurricane, flying around in the sky. Someone at some point in history thought that people would enjoy such crazy experiences, and that person engineered what some of the first of these terrifying machines. In my life however I can perfectly align that saying about the sticks and stones and that simile with the rollercoaster to where I am and who I am today. From a young age I knew I was more seclusive, more shy than the others.…
