Personal Narrative: The Apocalypse

The Apocalypse All of my life I thought the word apocalypse was just word used in scary movies,books or electronics games.It was just unbelievable to ever happen in real life,and even if it did it wouldn’t happen here,in Jefferson,Indiana Which is where I live.I thought it could only start in a big city.Boy,was I wrong! It all started on June 6,2016 the day started like any other day I was in my first class Jefferson Jr. High School.Everything seemed normal at first .Little did I know I was talking to my friends that ten miles away something terrible was happening under the city hall building was a government run secret scientific lab.The scientists were working on an experimental chemical that was to prevent aging.The experiment was a success but no one expected the side effects that came with it. We could find no one else alive until we got to my best friend's house.Their big dogs had been helping them fight zombies along with whatever weapons they could find. All of us were exhausted,but we decided to fight the zombies until they were all dead or we were.I guess we all wanted to to live real bad.It took all day but we defeated them.If there had been more zombies who know what would have happened. Of course after we did all the killing the government sent in the army to clean up the area.They cleaned up so well it looks like nothing happened in our town.They also lied and said it was toxic leak into the river that made people go crazy and kill each other. Those of us that survived know what really happened but who is going to believe us.We are just poor people who live in a small
